Wren Hartke

I am a Senior Graphic Design student at Webster university. I have always loved creating art but I discovered my love for graphic design in High school, and every since I have loved making logos, posters, and other designs. In a lot of my designs, I like to include subjects I am interested in. One particular design I did was inspired by the “Protect Trans Kids” movement. After transitioning myself, I have found that trans kids are often the target for political arguments and discrimination, and I believe more needs to be done about it. I have also done a lot of illustrative work and photography, in which I often like to include animals and naturalistic elements, which is something I am passionate about. My philosophy about working in the art and design industry is to make something that I am happy with. If I don’t like the work I am creating, then why am I making it?
